Big Biceps – Steps to Bigger Arms

How can you build big biceps?

Now when most people are referring to building their biceps, they are typically looking to make their biceps peak higher, or give them the appearance of a rock sitting on the arm when flexing.

Remember, just because a bicep muscle peaks higher, doesn’t necessarily mean that it automatically makes your arms stronger; it’s simply a matter of appearance.

Every person has the potential to build bigger arms, but it’s important to remember that each person has different genetics and will shape muscle completely different from the next person. So some will build bicep height much easier than others.

Assuming you’ve got the basic understanding of the importance of nutrition and the principles of weight training, let’s give you some tips to build big biceps the fastest way possible.

1. Don’t over-do your training. More is not always better.

2. When working the biceps, and since it’s one of the smaller muscles of the body, it’s very important to use slow controlled form to really isolate the bicep to the fullest.

3. Pick 3 to 5 bicep exercises. Do nothing less than 3.

4. For maximum results, be sure to fully flex the bicep when bringing the weight up. For example, when doing bicep curls, and when the weight is brought the closest to the face area and in a flexing position, be sure to fully flex to engage the bicep as much as possible.

5. When working the biceps, pick a lighter weight, and don’t use your back to assist the weight up.

6. Go for about 4 sets per exercise. I wouldn’t recommend doing anything more than 12 reps per set.

Now of course these are basic steps to help build bigger biceps, but I assure you, that if you simply apply just these few things, you will see a noticeable difference.

Now that you have some understanding of what you can do to build your arms a little easier, maybe you would like to figure out a good routine…
